Canada Day Parade

                           Steveston Salmon Festival Parade with German Kids Richmond 2006

On July 1st about 30 kids and parents joined in the Salmon Festival Parade to create awareness for German Kids Richmond in the community.

Children and parents were dressed in red, yellow or black and made a lovely splash of colour. Mercedes Benz kindly sponsored the SMART car, which was dressed up too and created quite a stir.

St. Martins Fest

St. Nikolaus Feier

GKR students, their families and friends ring in the Christmas season with our St. Nikolaus Fest. The tables are beautifully decorated and everyone brings a scrumptious dish to share.

The festivities begin with our children singing traditional Christmas carols. St. Nikolaus arrives with his heavy sack. He hands out words of wisdom for each child and a gift.
